DDR Dobermans in Need

Some Dobermans come into our program with serious or immediate medical needs that would otherwise make adoption impossible. Through DDR’s commitment to providing extensive — and often costly — veterinary care and rehabilitation, the majority of these dogs are able to heal and ultimately be placed into loving permanent homes. In some cases, however, a dog’s physical challenges are too severe for adoption. These Dobermans remain with DDR in the care of foster families who continue to provide for their needs, where the focus shifts from treatment to comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
