Guides for Dog Introduction + Veterinary Care

Slow Introduction & Decompression

The gradual introduction to existing household animals is a pivotal aspect of the initial stages of adoption, and it is a mandatory practice for both DDR adopters and fosters. Beyond just acclimating to other animals, it is essential for a newly adopted dog to undergo a decompression period, laying the foundation for a successful transition. These guidelines are designed to help your new dog start off on a positive note, preventing unwanted behaviors and fostering a deeper bond.
