Kane is a intelligent, driven 2-year-old male Doberman. He needs an active, structured, experienced home that's prepared and excited to give him physical AND mental stimulation.
Kane is incredibly smart and responsive to training and has learned: sit, down. stay, heel, wait, and place. He also knows a few fun tricks like "spin!" and "bang!" - continued training and enrichment will keep him happy and motivated! He is off-leash trained with an e-collar , and outdoor adventures are a favorite of his. He loves to stay busy, but has learned over time that it's okay to relax, especially on the couch next to his people.
Kane is dog-neutral and could coexist in a home with other dogs, provided slow introduction protocols are followed. He lives in a pack of 7 at his current home and has quickly learned the difference between appropriate and inappropriate dog-dog interactions. However, he doesn't have any interest in engaging or playing with other dogs - he's more interested in exploring on his own.
Kane will require an engaged, active adopter with plenty of Doberman breed experience, preferably someone with training experience. Kane's ideal adopter should be prepared to channel his energy into something fulfilling, give fair corrections when needed, and continue the training he’s worked so hard on.
