Tongo - Urgent Medical Care

Meet Tongo, a 1-year-old male Doberman who has just arrived in our care severely malnourished and suffering from advanced mange covering his body. Along with his visible condition, Tongo urgently needs life-saving obstruction surgery to remove a foreign object from his gastrointestinal tract. The surgery alone is expected to cost more than $2,000.

Dogs like Tongo present a significant challenge for rescue organizations due to the immediate and costly medical care they require. But at DDR, we believe every dog deserves a chance—no matter how sick or broken they may be—to heal and experience a happy, healthy life. Your donations allow us to say “yes” when it matters most.
