This handsome, well-trained 3-year-old boy is available for adoption through Dogwood Doberman Rescue — and we just know his perfect match is out there! ❤️

Maverick is looking for an active home with someone who understands structure, communication, and balance. He thrives on clear rules and boundaries, not endless treats. He needs a person who isn’t afraid to give fair corrections and continue the training he’s worked so hard on.

🚫 No kids

🐶 Prefers 1 or no other dogs (he does okay with some, but playtime must be structured and supervised — he can be a lot for certain pups!)

🐱 Unsure about cats

🐐 No issues around goats or horses, though he’s kept on an “off-limits” rule

🚗 Loves car rides — he’ll happily ride all day long!

Maverick would make an incredible partner for a single man or woman who loves hiking, training, or simply having a loyal companion by their side. He’s UTD on vaccines and heartworm prevention and ready to start his next adventure with the right person.
