Meet Zeus, a handsome, energetic young Doberman with a big heart and a love for adventure! This sweet boy is making steady progress with his crate and house training and continues to learn quickly. He’s an active dog who enjoys long walks and even short jogs with his foster — a great fit for someone who loves to stay on the move!

Zeus is dog friendly and loves to play with his foster brother. He can be a bit rough in play, but it’s all in good fun, and he responds well to redirection. He’s still finishing up his vaccines, so he hasn’t met many other dogs yet, but his enthusiasm for play suggests he’ll enjoy canine companionship once fully socialized.

He’s a mix of friendly, outgoing, loyal, and playful, though he can also be a bit shy and suspicious in new environments. Zeus walks beautifully on a leash and has started learning some obedience skills. He’s anxious in the car and still working on feeling comfortable when traveling.

When left alone, Zeus can become anxious or bark excessively, and like many young Dobermans, he’ll need plenty of supervision and chew options to stay out of trouble. He’s not destructive out of malice — he’s just still learning what counts as a toy! With structure and consistency, he’s improving daily and learning to settle more easily at night.

Zeus would thrive in a home with another dog for companionship, an active lifestyle, and a calm environment with few visitors. He’s incredibly sweet, eager to please, and just needs continued guidance to help him grow into the well-mannered companion he’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful Doberman who’s full of potential and heart, Zeus is ready to meet you!
