Meet Poncho!

This magnificent young dude of a Dobe has come a long way. With a horrible skin yeast infection that left his back hairless and scabby, borderline malnutrition and barely able to use his back legs, Poncho has blossomed. His coat is now glossy, full, and beautiful. He has taken to running up and down my deck stairs like it's a game. He still needs help onto the bed or into the truck sometimes, but it seems to be more because he likes the attention!

This dude is gentle, non-destructive, and respects visual barriers to a fault. He's a great cuddlebug, and has not met a stranger since he's been with me. He likes car rides, walks, and interacting with his person whenever the opportunity presents.

I've fostered several Dobes over the years without regrets, and it's going to be hard letting this guy go. He's that sweet. If I could keep him and still help others, I would, but I simply don't have the space for him to stay permanently.

If you don't let your dog(s) sleep on your bed, don't bother applying, I won't let you take him. This guy thrives on being close and being loved on.
