Meet Marty, a sweet, playful young Doberman who’s eager to find her forever family! Marty is still working on her potty training—she reliably goes outside but does best with supervision indoors. She’s crate trained, enjoys her routine, and settles nicely once she knows her people are nearby.
Marty has a wonderful, friendly and adaptable temperament. She’s dog friendly and loves to wrestle, chase, and play with her foster siblings. She’s learning proper puppy manners and responds well to gentle correction from other dogs. Marty has also met a cat and completely ignored it, showing no signs of prey drive—just calm curiosity!
At home, she’s a mix of playful energy and affectionate loyalty. She loves snuggling, working on her chew toys, and solving her dinner in a snuffle mat. Marty isn’t reactive in any situation and takes cues from her environment with curiosity and caution as she learns about the world.
Like most young Dobermans, Marty is a Velcro dog who adores being close to her people. She does experience mild separation anxiety when left alone and will benefit from continued training to build independence and confidence. With structure, love, and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to thrive.
Marty would do wonderfully in nearly any environment—especially one with another friendly dog to play with or an active family ready to include her in their daily life. She’s the perfect blend of happy, loyal, and playful, ready to become someone’s new best friend.
